The China Tour of Russian Higher Education was launched at the Russian Cultural Centre in Beijing on October 22.Â
Within the framework of this project, Pavel Shevtsov, deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo (the Russian Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation), held discussions with representatives of institutions in China.
Shevtsov introduced the forms of cooperation with Russian educational institutions, exploring cooperation opportunities with institutions in China.
Shevtsov recently met Liu Lin, a national political adviser and head of the China Association for Non-Government Education, to discuss the prospects of cooperation with Russian educational institutions. He also met with Jia Mengqiu, secretary general of China’s Western Returned Scholars Association’s Russian branch.
