TU Darmstadt is providing Graduation Scholarships for International Students aimed at assisting high-achieving individuals during the concluding phase of their Bachelor’s, Master’s, or teaching studies. This scholarship is intended to alleviate financial burdens during the thesis preparation period and is granted based on academic merit, with particular attention given to students encountering social or familial difficulties.
Eligible candidates must be non-German nationals possessing a higher education entrance qualification obtained from outside Germany or from a German Studienkolleg. They should be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or teaching program at TU Darmstadt, maintaining an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher, and must be in the final stage of their studies (with their thesis registered or to be registered within six months).

How to Apply
Applications are accepted biannually: from 01–15 April and 01–15 October. For the upcoming round, the online portal will be accessible from 1 to 15 October 2025. Applicants must:
Complete the online application form, print it, and sign it.
Submit the signed form along with all required documents via email, including:
Current transcript of records (stamped by the Studienbüro)
Confirmation of thesis registration form
Evaluation form filled out and signed by a supervising professor or supervisor
Letter of motivation
Proof of social hardship or family situation (if applicable)
Evidence of other scholarships received or currently held
Clearly state if AI tools were utilized in the preparation of any documents with the note: “Produced with the aid of [tool name]”. Incomplete or late applications will not be taken into account.

Recipients will receive financial support to assist them during the final phase of their degree program, allowing them to focus entirely on completing their thesis and final examinations without financial pressure.
